The points leading No.33 Corvette Racing squad of Ben Keating, Nicolas Varrone and Nicky Catsburg took their third WEC victory of the season with a hard-earned win the final LMGTE Am category race at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
It’s already a Bristol to remember for four drivers at this weekend’s Thunder Valley Nationals. Leah Pruett raced to the lead in Top Fuel Friday qualifying, and Robert Hight (Funny Car), Erica Enders (Pro Stock) and Gaige Herrera (Pro Stock Motorcycle) also were No. 1. The first round of eliminations in Top Fuel and Funny Car from the postponed NHRA New England Nationals also took place on Friday in Bristol.
Due to inclement weather, the balance of the 10th annual NHRA New England Nationals has moved and will now take place as part of this weekend’s NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals, which takes place Friday-Sunday at Bristol Dragway
